Beachy Head lighthouse

A view to the Beachy Head lighthouse under the Seven Sisters chalk cliffs

This is the classic view of the lighthouse as one approaches from the west. I walked the base of the cliffs from Birling Gap to Cow gap recently and what an unpleasant walk it turned out to be - slippery seaweed covered chalk and stretches of spherical chalk boulders like walking on ball bearings.
