Glenfinnan monument
The monument to the Unkown Highlander at Glenfinnan
This image was taken on my first visit to this location at the head of Loch Shiel, where the clans gathered to raise the standard of Bonnie Prince Charlie in 1745, in autumn. I was lucky enough to get a glorious afternoon with a brisk north-westerly wind.
